Cy's dad spent most of the night making each of the children in her class "arms" out of bamboo, a rubber glove and a balloon. The awesome arms helped the children learn about muscle systems. THANK YOU Cy's dad!!!
Joseph, Miss Donna and Jack are learning the Latin word for "in".

We studied the words ANALOG vs. DIGITAL.
Analog, continuous wave, degradeable
Digital, sampled wave, not degradeable in terms of sound quality.
AMPLITUDE: I actually drew this incorrectly for the class - I told them the amplitude is the height of a wave from peak to trough, but it's actually half that. Just from the middle up or down. Same concept, measuring size of the wave, but it bothers me if they remember my notation of the whole wave.

We acted out the Prodigal Son during opening today. We had the best pigs ever!

Douglas, the father, welcomed back Joseph, the prodigal after he repented.
