We practiced being monks this morning.  St. Augustineish.  The silent part didn't take... not even for a minute.

Former DJ Donna BROOKS!!!! What would CC be without the karoke machine?

Jack presenting on Virginia.

Joseph!

Collin!
The trouble with Brian is not getting him to present... it's getting him to stop.  Brian loves the spotlight, the mic, the applause...it's all so good.

Ok, Miss Cy out does herself each week but this one was out of this world... well out of this country.  She set up an Italian dinner scene to teach a song about the lymphatic system.  Candles, red table cloth, low lighting and snacks greeted the children as their tutors sang an Italian-Lymphatic System serenade.

Amy and Joseph are geography superstars!

Miss Pam and Miss Donna made geography lapbooks for their students.  Each week they add to their book and then at the end of the year they will be able to take it home as another great CC memory.

Thomas has many great faces.  He likes to tell us that his mom is REALLY short and he was ELEVEN pounds at birth.  Karen will most likely call me when she reads this. :-)

Jeremiah Viking visited CC today.

Mr. C. lead his family's presentation today.  Mr. C. speaks each day before many scary types but most likely non as frightening as the Vikings of CC.  Miss Michelle made cool fur vests for the children and several other families brought Viking gear for their play.

Princess Viking Madison, top, and Princess Viking Kayleigh were superb actresses this morning.

Miss Michelle made this long boat, complete with a serpent head, for their play!  Madison and Jaden were pushed by the children into VICTORY FOR THE VIKINGS!!!

Noelle and Anna are great friends.  While playing musical chairs Noelle was left without a chair.  Anna quickly pulled Noelle onto her lap and wha-la Noelle was still in the game!

It's a difficult thing to look fierce with a stuffed Viking hat perched on your head... but alas, Bjorn Douglas was able to pull of the look, even with a slightly crooked Lego sword.

The girls hid when the battle became to fierce ... well when the boys went a little out of control with their swordsmanship... or lack there of.

Thomas was one of the date holders for our Viking raid.

Brian, Jack and Decker and jamming out to CC history with their air guitars.

Miss Lisandrea's class dressed up today for their presentations. Here, Stephanie is, someone will have to comment on who she is, but the character is from Toy Story.

Vanna Cy presents skip counting!

Yep.  It's the Mexican War.  Most of our students chose to be Mexicans... for the cool hats.  Most also chose to die several times...for the cool effect.
