Helena and Jessica are great friends and science partners.

Caleb and Luke work on their volcano.

Joel and Boaz were fascinated!

Beatrice and the Volcano

Beatrice asked me what we were going to do today. I replied, "well I'm gonna love you and hug you and call you George". Bea squished up her nose and said "I'd rather you call me Princess". For that level of cuteness, Beatrice gets her own page.

Mrs. W. the Great stayed up until one this morning to make clay volcanoes. Her volcanoes were incredible! She then helped us make them explode using soap, water, food coloring, vinegar and baking soda. The children loved watching them erupt. Thank you Mrs. W.

This is Mrs. H and Mrs. W. Thank you again Mrs. W for a wonderful job making the volcanoes and researching about them.

Mrs. M and Boaz look at a volcano.

Does anyone remember where the largest volcano in the solar system is? Write it in comments and get a shout out at CC!

Daniel and the Volcano

Daniel brought in his volcano and demonstrated it for our whole group today. He did an excellent job explaining the parts of the volcano to include magma, vents, crater and lava. Thank you Daniel.
