We studied the Cape of Good Hope today. Jason has been there! He told us that you must be very cautious of baboons if you visit the beach as they are likely to steal your food and chase you.

Electricity!

Paul, Anya, Elizabeth and Teagan learned about circuits today.

Robin explained how a circuit works and had us hold hands in a circle to demonstrate the flow of electricity. It was a little disconcerting when she then asked Robert to hold the electric line... was it going to spark him?




Grace made a light that actually lit!
