Electricity!

Paul, Anya, Elizabeth and Teagan learned about circuits today.

Robin explained how a circuit works and had us hold hands in a circle to demonstrate the flow of electricity. It was a little disconcerting when she then asked Robert to hold the electric line... was it going to spark him?

Art for Afghanistan

Our group is supporting a Marine Battalion in Afghanistan this year! We hope to mail 150 packages of treats for our soldiers. To raise postage money, we are making cards and hope to sell them. Ashlynn is demonstrating how to make marble art for our cards.

Douglas' mom, Karen, came up with the idea of selling cards to support our troops, prepared the supplies and helped us all morning. Thank you Karen!
