Claire placed us into the first ever Reston Orchestra! She explained each of our instruments and roles and then allowed us to play our invisible instruments with classical music. Claire is definitely a TVTL (too valuable to leave). We love her dearly.

Lynne is a baby-monger. I can say this because I am constantly fighting her to hold babies. She has an incredible heart and wonderful hugs. Here Faith is being comforted while her mommy teaches us orchestra.

This was a scene from Isaac's family play. He was one of the Wright brothers finally flying their plane.

Linda takes our little ones so seriously. She has absolutely no fun with them at all. Today she brought in dress up clothes. Seven princesses and one prince!
We were riveted by Dr. Heiman's presentation.

Dr. Heiman-real-life-adventureman spoke with us about his adventures as a geologist today! He's repelled out of a helicopter, been chased by a bear, administered 27 stitches on his own leg and then hiked for many miles, been bitten by a rattlesnake -- while holding on a steep cliff and camped alone for a month! And we thought geologist spent his career in an air conditioned office.

Thank you Dr. Heiman!

Reston Classical Conversations Orchestra performed various pieces today. Boaz and Nathan were in the violin section.

Brian loves the history cards!

Nancy has cleaned our church every week for the last seven weeks! Wow! Nancy is incredible! Thank you! This week she needed to be elsewhere and our newest Harvest janitor took charge. Boaz made the men's room sparkle and smell great!

Caleb had been happily sleeping on Lynnea's shoulder when he suddenly heard his momma's voice. He perked up and instantly looked toward her. Such love.

Revelations 21 reads Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away and there was no long any sea. I saw the Holy City of the new Jerusalem, coming down from heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband....

The wall was made of Jasper and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations f the city walls were decorated with every kind f precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the sec0nd sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl...

If we believe in Jesus, that he is the Son of God, we will go to heaven. Heaven is a place with a city called new Jerusalem and the earth will be made new and new Jerusalem will be placed on the earth and we will live with God. It is a promise. When loved ones die who know Jesus we have the wonderful assurance that we will see them again, with God, and perhaps at the wall of new Jerusalem. What an amazing sight!

We made walls and streets of gold today to remind us how precious that day will be!

Nathan held his wall up high!

Justinian the Great made his out of pure carnelian.

Caleb's wall has a decorated pattern.

I'm pretty certain we won't see weaponry on the new Jerusalem wall but just in case Joel added a ballistic site.
Thank you Memma Shebby! reads the sign! We love the wobble board and the plasma car you sent for Jack's birthday and our group! Hopefully next year Memma Shebby will be able to join us for a Muscles in Motion!

Kyle the mad man driving the plasma car! Watch out!

Tiffany should be a plasma car model!
